Mppp School

Our school is located in the hills of Ooty, specifically in a place called Kappathorai in Nanjanad. Being up here means the weather is almost always cool and often quite misty. The building is a small, sturdy one that has been standing for quite a while. We don't have many classrooms, but we have enough for the local children who live in and around Nanjanad. It’s a very quiet area, which is nice for a school. Most of the students walk to get here, as there aren't many buses in this part of the hills. The teachers are local people too, and we all know each other. We follow the standard school lessons and don't really do anything too fancy. We don't have much in the way of modern tech or big sports fields, just the space we have and the books we use. The school life here is very simple and honest. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place warm during the rainy months. We don't bother with advertising or marketing because the whole community knows where we are. It’s a practical little school that has been part of life in Kappathorai for a long time. We just open up every day and do what needs to be done for the kids. It’s a modest way of living and working in the Nilgiris. Sometimes the fog is so thick we can't see the road, but the kids still find their way to class.
