Waves Sourcing

Our office is located on the third floor of Plot No. 63- B in Bhagwan Nagar. We are quite close to the Ashram area, so the traffic is always a bit of a mess outside. Being on the third floor means we get a little bit of a breeze if we leave the windows open, but we also get all the dust from the road. The office is basically just a few desks and a lot of fabric swatches and samples piled up. We spend most of our day on the phone or sending emails to different factories. It is not glamorous work. There is a lot of waiting for samples to arrive and then checking them to see if they look right. Sometimes the courier gets lost because the building numbers around here are a bit confusing. We have a small kettle for making coffee, which we drink way too much of. The stairs are a bit steep, so we usually try to stay up here once we arrive in the morning. We don't have a big receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you just walk right into the middle of the work. We are just a small group of people trying to handle the orders and keep the paperwork straight. It is a lot of phone calls and checking things twice. We just do our best to stay organized in a very busy part of Delhi. It gets tiring but we get through it.
