Hot Spot Stores

Hot Spot Stores is at Moti Bagh 141. It’s a pretty standard mobile shop in a busy part of town. We have the usual glass cases filled with all kinds of phones, from the cheap ones to the ones that cost a lot of money. The floor is tile and we spend a lot of time sweeping it because people bring in a lot of dirt from the sidewalk. It’s just me and two other guys working here. We spend most of our time explaining data plans or trying to get screen protectors on without any bubbles. That’s the hardest part of the job, really. We have a lot of accessories hanging on the walls, mostly chargers and earphones. People always seem to be losing their chargers. The shop isn't very big, so when four or five people come in at once, it feels very crowded. We don't have a back room, so all our stock is just kept in the cabinets under the counters. Moti Bagh is a lively area, so there’s always something happening outside the door. We stay open until about nine at night because that’s when people get off work and want to look at new gadgets. We aren't trying to be the biggest store, just a reliable place where you can get your phone fixed or buy a new one without too much trouble. It's a straightforward business and we like it that way.
