Our office is tucked away at 1/11120 Street No.8 in Subhash Park. We are right near Kirti Mandir in Shahdara, which is a part of Delhi that stays pretty crowded. Vfs Global Services handles a lot of paperwork for people, mostly regarding travel and applications. It’s the kind of place where you see a lot of different faces every day. The office on Street No.8 isn’t anything fancy to look at. We have a lot of desks lined up and rows of chairs for people to wait in. Sometimes the line gets long and people get a bit impatient, which is understandable. We just try to process the documents as they come. Delhi-110032 is a busy area, so getting to work can take a while depending on the traffic near the temple. We don't use big words or try to act like we are in a high-rise building. It’s just us and the printers and the stamps. The air inside is usually a bit stuffy from all the people, so we open the windows when we can. Working in Shahdara means we are used to the noise of the market and the bikes outside. We spend our day checking IDs and making sure the forms are filled out right. It’s steady work, and we’ve been doing it at this same spot for quite a bit. There’s not much more to it than that.
