M/S Visa Services is located in Saket, specifically at A-66 in the Golf View Apartments. It’s a quiet enough spot in New Delhi, 110017, but things inside the office can get pretty hectic depending on the time of year. We spend most of our time looking at passports, filling out long forms, and trying to make sense of all the rules embassies put out. It’s a lot of paper moving from one desk to another. People come to us when they are planning to go abroad and they feel a bit overwhelmed by the whole process. We aren’t a big agency with hundreds of employees; we are just a few people working out of this apartment space. You can see the trees and the neighborhood from the windows, which is nice when you’ve been staring at a computer screen for four hours straight. Sometimes the internet acts up or the printer jams right when we need it, but that is just part of running a small office in Delhi. We try to be honest with people about how long things take because the visa world is unpredictable. It’s mostly about being organized and making sure no one forgets to sign a document. We’ve been here in Saket for a while, and most days are just about managing the pile of applications on the desk and answering the phone when it rings. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening.
