Thermatek Tiles & Paints

Our office for Thermatek Tiles & Paints is located at Office Number C-17-E, which is actually an Mig Flat in Mayapuri I. It’s not your typical commercial building, so it feels more like a home than a regular workplace. We have the rooms set up with desks and shelves to hold all the different paint cans and tile pieces we need to show people. Working out of a Mig Flat in Mayapuri I means we are right in the middle of a residential neighborhood, which we actually prefer. It’s a bit more relaxed than being in a big glass tower downtown. At Thermatek Tiles & Paints, we usually start the morning by checking the messages and seeing what came in overnight. There is usually a smell of coffee in the air and the sound of the local streets waking up outside. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just know our products and we tell people the truth about what we have in stock. The space at C-17-E is a bit cramped when we get a lot of supplies delivered at once, but we always find a way to stack things so there is still a path to walk. It’s a straightforward business and we treat it that way. Most of our day is spent talking to people on the phone or writing down measurements on scraps of paper. It’s just how we do things here.
