The City Hotel

We are located at 1-B on Under Hill Road. Civil Lines is one of those parts of Delhi that still has a bit of the old feeling left, even with all the new buildings coming up. Our hotel has been here for a long time. It’s not a modern glass structure or anything like that. It’s just a solid building where we’ve been hosting travelers for years. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy logo. Most of our day is spent just managing the rooms and talking to the people who walk through the door. Some of our guests have been coming here for decades, and they know the staff by name. We have a small kitchen that does basic meals, nothing too elaborate, just regular food like you’d have at home. The rooms are plain but they have the essentials. Sometimes the street noise from Under Hill Road gets a bit loud during the day, but it usually settles down at night. We don't try to pretend to be a five-star place. We’re just a local hotel where you can get a decent night’s sleep without a lot of fuss. Managing an old building in Delhi has its challenges, like the plumbing being a bit temperamental or the paint peeling in the corners, but we keep working on it bit by bit. It’s a simple life running this place, and we like it that way.
