Swayam Collections

You can find us at X-36 on the first floor in Loha Mandi, Naraina. It is an industrial area so it is mostly trucks and iron shops around here. Being on the first floor means we have to carry everything up and down the stairs which can be a bit of a workout. We deal with clothes and collections. It is a small team and we spend most of our time looking at different fabrics and checking the stitching on samples. The building is a bit old and the stairs are narrow, but we have made the space work for us. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a place where we get things done. Sometimes it gets really hot in the summer because the building holds the heat, but we just turn the fans on and keep moving. We’ve been in Naraina for a few years now and we know most of the people on this block. Usually, we are just busy packing things or talking to the tailors about new designs. It isn't a corporate setup at all. It’s just a few of us trying to make a living and making sure the clothes look decent before they go out. We stay pretty late most nights especially when a big order is due. It’s a lot of work but it’s what we do.
