Suresh Suppliers operates out of number 33 in the Manocha Apartment complex. This is in Vikaspuri, over in West Delhi. It’s a bit different because we’re based in a residential area, so it’s not as noisy as a factory, but it still gets busy. We use the space to manage our supply business. Most of what we do involves coordinating deliveries and making sure the inventory is where it needs to be. We don't have a showroom or a storefront where you can browse. It’s mostly just us at our desks with the phones ringing quite a bit. Living and working in West Delhi means you’re always dealing with the traffic, so we spend a lot of time planning the best routes for our transport guys. The apartment serves us well enough for now. It’s a bit cramped with all the ledgers and boxes, but it’s home. We don't try to look bigger than we are. When people call, they usually talk to the same two or three people every time. We find it easier to work that way, even if we’re just a small team. We don't have a marketing department or anything polished. We just write down the orders, pack the stuff, and send it out. It’s a straightforward way to make a living, and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. Sometimes the elevator in the building doesn't work and we have to carry things up the stairs, but that keeps us fit, I suppose. We just keep going.
