Toy Zone

Our shop, Toy Zone, is tucked away at Plot No Z/3 in Rajouri Garden. We are quite close to the Burger Club, so we get a lot of families walking past after they have had a meal. The shop is full of boxes from the floor all the way up to the ceiling. It can be a bit of a squeeze when it gets crowded on the weekends. We have all sorts of toys, from small plastic figures to bigger board games and puzzles. It is a noisy place sometimes because kids like to try things out, but we don't mind much. Keeping everything in order is the hardest part. As soon as we straighten a shelf, someone comes along and moves things around. That is just the way it goes with toys. We spend our evenings restocking and making sure we know what is in the back room. Rajouri Garden is a fast-moving area, so we have to stay alert. We are not some big chain store with uniforms. We are just local people who enjoy having a shop in our own neighborhood. We see the kids grow up year after year. They start with rattles and end up looking for remote-controlled cars. It is interesting to watch. We just try to keep the shelves filled and the door open for whoever walks in looking for a gift or a little treat for themselves. It is a fun job even if the cleanup takes forever every night.
