Our shop is back behind number 59 in Marian Chowk, right in the heart of Chawri Bazar. If you know the area, you know how packed it gets. We are in Shop 5386 and 5387. It’s basically one big space filled with bearings and different types of machinery parts. It gets quite dusty because of all the metal and the traffic outside. Chawri Bazar is famous for this kind of stuff, so we fit right in. We don’t have any big signs or anything. People usually find us because they’ve been coming here for years or someone told them we have the specific part they need. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving crates around. Sometimes the paperwork gets piled up on the small desk in the corner, but we get through it. The tea man comes by twice a day, which is usually the highlight when things are slow. We deal with a lot of mechanics and factory guys who know exactly what they want, so there isn't much talking. Just checking the numbers and handing over the goods. It’s a solid way to spend the day. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but honestly, we’re too busy with the stock to worry about that. It’s just a regular old-fashioned shop doing regular work.
