Sunny Gift House

You can find us in Rajouri Garden, right near the Bombay Selection shop at Plot No. H-28. This area is always full of people shopping for clothes or food, so there’s a lot of energy outside our door. Our shop is a bit small but we try to fit as much as we can on the shelves. We have things like frames and toys stacked up, so there is a lot of wrapping paper and ribbon bits lying around on the floor by the end of the day. It gets quite messy when the festival season starts and everyone is looking for something to give their family. We don’t really have a big staff, just a couple of us helping people find what they need. The shelves are packed with all sorts of things, and sometimes we even forget where we put something until a customer points it out. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases because of all the fingerprints. It’s a local spot and we see the same faces from the neighborhood coming in for birthday cards or small items. The noise from the main road never really stops, but after a few hours, you don't even notice it anymore. We just keep the door open and wait for whoever walks in next. Sometimes we just sit on the stools and watch the shoppers go by when it’s a slow afternoon.
