Som Parkash & Co.

You can find us over at 23, Amar Colony, which is right across from Rajdhani Park in Nangloi. It’s a lively part of the city, always something going on outside our door. Sometimes the noise from the street gets a bit loud, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Som Parkash & Co. has been operating out of this spot for a long time. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place with old wooden furniture and stacks of files that seem to grow every month. We deal with a lot of different people every day, from suppliers to folks just stopping by with questions. It’s the kind of place where you can hear the fans whirring all day and the phone ringing every few minutes. My chair squeaks every time I move, and we really should get it fixed, but it’s been that way for years. We take our work seriously, but we don't feel the need to dress up in suits or use big words. Most of the staff has been here long enough that we feel like a small family, for better or worse. We know the local shopkeepers and where to get the best snacks in the afternoon. It’s a simple life here in Nangloi, focusing on the business and making sure things are moving along as they should. We don't have a mission statement on the wall, just a calendar.
