Smridhi Stone

You can find Smridhi Stone at No. 305 in Chandanhulla. We are located on the Chattarpur Temple Road, which is a pretty well-known stretch. Our place is directly opposite Vasu Garden. It’s a good location because the road is wide enough for the trucks to bring in the heavy stone loads. We handle a lot of natural stone here. The yard is usually full of blocks and slabs waiting to be picked up. It gets quite hot out there in the sun, but that's where the work happens. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. Most of our time is spent outdoors or in the small shed where we keep the paperwork. People come by after visiting the temple or seeing the gardens nearby. We just show them what we have in stock and tell them the prices. There’s no pressure or fancy sales talk. It’s just about the stone and whether it’s what they need for their floors or walls. Sometimes the dust from the cutting can get a bit much, but we try to keep it under control. The traffic on Chattarpur Temple Road can be quite something on the weekends, so we usually get our big deliveries done early in the week. We’ve been at this spot for a while and we’ve gotten to know the other vendors on the road. It’s a busy, practical way to make a living and keep the family business going.
