Sharma Motors & Earth Movers

Shop number 23 in the DDA market is where we keep things running. Sharma Motors & Earth Movers is nestled right in the Rajouri Apartment area, just across from the big government press. It is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with the trucks and the spare parts piled up, but we make it work. Rajouri Garden is always moving, and we are right in the thick of it. We deal with motors and big earth-moving gear every single day. The office is small and usually smells a bit like oil and old paper, but it is home to us. You can see the Mayapuri Govt Press workers coming and going while we are loading up tools. Sometimes the market gets so crowded we can barely find a place to park a bike, let alone a tractor. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at sites checking on the machines. It is not a glamorous life, but it pays the bills and keeps the equipment moving. We have been in this spot for a while, so the neighbors know us by name. We don't really do much advertising because people just see the shop when they are walking through the S.F.S. block. It is just practical, everyday work for us here.
