Anil Machine Tools Company has been running out of number 66 Shardhanand Marg for a long time. This street is always full of iron and steel and heavy machinery parts. Our shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a regular place with a lot of metal tools and hardware inside. There is always a smell of machine oil in the air. We spend our days dealing with various tools that people need for their workshops or factories. It’s heavy work and our clothes usually end up with some grease on them by lunchtime. We don't have a website or a fancy catalog. Most people just walk in and ask if we have a certain wrench or a specific bit. If we have it, it's usually buried under something else on the shelves. We know this street and the people on it very well. The traffic on Shardhanand Marg can be a nightmare sometimes, with trucks trying to unload in narrow spots. We just stay inside and keep track of the inventory. It’s a simple business. We don’t try to act like a big company. We are just here to provide the tools that people need to get their own jobs done. Some days the heat is tough, but we just drink some tea and get back to counting the stock or helping a customer who looks a bit lost in the market. It is what it is.
