Ashok Earthmovers

Ashok Earthmovers is based out of Tagore Garden, specifically at Office Number D-354. It’s a busy area and our office is right in the middle of it. We deal with heavy machinery and parts, so the place isn’t exactly what you’d call tidy. There are often catalogs of earthmoving equipment scattered around and maybe some greasy parts sitting on a rag in the corner. We spend a lot of our time on the phone coordinating things or looking up parts for customers who need their machines running again. Tagore Garden has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of that over the years. The office is small but it serves its purpose. We have a couple of old fans that rattle a bit when they are on high speed. It’s mostly just us here, drinking tea and trying to keep track of all the different pieces of equipment we manage. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll just see us working at our desks. Sometimes the street noise gets loud, but we’re used to it. It’s a straightforward business and we don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. We just focus on the machines and making sure the orders are right. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they saw the sign. We keep a stack of old files on the cabinet that probably need sorting someday soon.
