Sharma Marbles

If you go down to the Marble Market in Sector-20 of Dwarka, you’ll find us at Plot No.83. That’s where Sharma Marbles is located. We are right in the middle of all the other stone shops. It’s a competitive spot, but we’ve been here for a while and have our own way of doing things. The market is always buzzing with trucks coming in and out. It’s a lot of heavy work. We spend the day showing people different slabs and explaining how they might look once they’re polished up. We don't have a polished office; it’s mostly just a small cabin where we keep the bills and a few chairs for visitors. We are more comfortable out on the plot with the marble anyway. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and we don't bother with big marketing plans. People know the market and they just wander in to see what catches their eye. We try to keep a good variety in stock so there’s always something to look at. Sometimes the dust is a bit much, but that’s part of the trade. We just keep our heads down and do the work. Dwarka has grown so much, and being in the marble market keeps us busy with all the new construction. We just focus on being there when someone needs stone and getting it loaded up for them without any hassle. It’s just our daily routine.
