Oswal Stones

The yard is located at No. 6 Satbari Main on Chhatarpur Mandir Road. It is an open space where we keep all the different stones. Because we are near the temple road, there is always some movement outside. We deal with heavy materials at Oswal Stones every single day. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the summer so we drink a lot of water. You can see the different colors of the stone once we wash the dust off them. Trucks come in early with new loads from the quarries. We have to guide them in carefully so they don't hit anything. It is physical work and we are usually tired by the time we lock up. We have stacks of granite and other types of natural stone scattered around the property. Some people come in with very specific measurements written on small pieces of paper. We walk them through the rows of slabs to see what fits. The rain makes everything a bit messy but that is just part of the job. We have a small shed where we keep the tools and take our lunch breaks. It is a straightforward business without any complications. We just focus on getting the stones moved to where they need to go. The area is growing and we see new buildings going up nearby all the time. Sometimes we stay late to finish a delivery.
