Being right near Nizamuddin Railway Station means there’s always noise and people moving around. Our office at Jaipur Estate has been our home for a good while. You can hear the trains sometimes if it’s quiet enough. We do both the architecture side and the engineering stuff here, which keeps us pretty occupied. It’s a mix of old desks and newer computers. We spend a lot of time arguing over structural details or looking at how a pipe is supposed to fit into a wall. Nizamuddin has its own rhythm, and we’ve become part of it. Some days are slow, while others are a total mess of phone calls and missing files. We don’t really do the whole corporate thing with suits; most of us just wear whatever is comfortable for a site visit. The tea here is okay, but the snacks from the station area are better. We just handle the drawings and the technical parts of building things. It’s a solid team of people who have worked together for years. We know the shortcuts around the railway station and where to find a decent lunch. The office is tucked away at number 6, and it’s usually piled high with blue-prints and heavy folders. We just show up and do the work.
