Our office is down in the basement at 80/57 in Malviya Nagar. Allied Architects Pvt Ltd is quite close to the H Block Gurudwara, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. Malviya Nagar is always bustling with activity, but our basement office is usually a bit calmer. We have been doing architectural work for a good while. Even though we have a formal name, we are just a small team of real people doing drawings and planning buildings. We do not have a fancy lobby or anything like that. We spend our days looking at site plans and trying to figure out how to fit everything into the space people have. Delhi is tight for space, so it is always a bit of a puzzle to solve. We deal with the local authorities and the paperwork that comes with building stuff, which is a lot of work but necessary. We do not make big promises; we just do the work as it comes and try to be honest about what can and cannot be done on a certain plot of land. Most of our days are spent here at the computers or out at a site checking the foundations. If you are near the Gurudwara in H Block, we are not far away. Just look for the basement entrance at 80/57. We are usually here working on something.
