Apex Architecture

Our place is in Ghaffar Manzil, which is right in the middle of the Jamia Nagar area in Okhla. New Delhi is always crowded and this part of town is especially busy with students and families moving around all day long. The office is at number 273/69. It is an old building and the stairs are a bit steep, so you have to watch your step coming up. Inside, it is mostly just us surrounded by stacks of paper and some old models we made years ago that have gathered a bit of dust. We do a lot of work for the houses around here, mostly helping people add an extra floor or redesign their kitchens to fit more stuff. The noise from the street comes right through the windows, but you get used to it after a week or two. We drink way too much chai while looking at computer screens. Sometimes the internet acts up and we end up just sketching by hand on whatever scrap of paper is nearby. It is a practical life. We deal with the local builders and try to make sense of the tight spaces people have to work with in this part of Delhi. There is no fancy lobby or receptionist here. You just walk in, find a chair if one is free, and we talk about what you need for your house. It is a basic, honest way to spend the day.
