Sandeep Printers & Book Binding House

We operate out of 7/193 in the DDA Flats in Kalkaji. It is a bit of a different setup since we are located within a residential area, but it works for what we do. The space is mostly taken up by our printing machines and the long tables we use for binding books. There is always that distinct smell of ink and glue in the air, which we have grown used to over the years. Most of our days are spent trimming edges, gluing covers, and making sure the print runs come out right. It is a very hands-on kind of work, and our clothes often have a bit of ink on them by the end of the shift. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to the main roads, though you still hear the usual sounds of the flats nearby. We do not have a fancy storefront with big windows. Instead, people usually come right into the workspace. It can get a little messy with paper scraps on the floor, but we sweep up when we can. We have a lot of regular customers from around the area who bring us their projects. It is just a small, family-style operation where we put in the hours and try to do a solid job on every book that comes across our table. We stay pretty busy but always have time for a quick chat. It is hard work but we have been doing it this way for a long time now.
