About Muslim Media – Books & Knowledge in New Delhi
We are over here in Khanpur Extn, specifically at house number F-80. It is a bit tucked away, but most people in the neighborhood know the lane. The morning starts early here with the sounds of the street waking up. Inside, things are mostly just rows of desks and some stacks of paper that we haven't quite gotten around to filing properly yet. There is a small window that lets in some light, though mostly it just shows the brick wall of the building next door. Usually, someone is making tea in the back corner around eleven. It is not a huge place, just a few rooms where we sit and handle the daily work. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we end up just talking about the weather or the traffic on the main road outside. We have been in this spot for a while now, so the walls have some marks where chairs have bumped into them over the years. The flooring is that old style that stays cool in the summer, which is nice. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address and the name on the door. It gets a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the computer screens. It is just a regular office space where we get things done, nothing fancy or polished. We like it this way because it feels like home after a few hours of working.
