Mandir Pustak Bhandar

You can find us right on Mandir Marg, which is very close to the Birla Mandir. Being near such a famous temple means there is always a crowd of people walking by, especially during the festivals. Our shop, Mandir Pustak Bhandar, is a small place where we keep all sorts of spiritual and religious books. We have things like the Gita, small prayer booklets, and stories about the gods. The air around here often smells like incense from the nearby stalls. Inside the shop, it’s a bit quieter than the street, though you can still hear the bells and the traffic. We spend our days arranging the books on the shelves and talking to the people who stop in after their visit to the mandir. A lot of grandmothers come in looking for specific prayers for their families. We don't have any fancy displays, just wooden racks filled with books in different languages. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a tour bus lets out, but we just handle one person at a time. It’s a nice place to work because the atmosphere around the temple is generally peaceful despite the noise. We’ve been here for a long time and know most of the other shopkeepers on the road. It’s just a simple bookshop for people looking for something meaningful to read or a gift for home.
