Working out of the Safex Cargo Complex near National Highway 8 is a bit different than a regular office. We are in the Mahipalpur Extn area, which is right by the airport. You can hear the planes taking off all day long. Safexpress Pvt. Ltd. has been here for a bit, and the location is good because we are so close to the main highway. It makes it easier for the big rigs to get in and out. The complex is a large area with a lot of movement. There is always someone shouting instructions or a forklift moving pallets around. It’s a gritty kind of job. We deal with a lot of heavy lifting and logistical headaches. The office part is just a small slice of the building where we handle the entry forms and the shipping details. It gets very hot in the summer because of all the concrete around us. We drink a lot of water and try to stay out of the sun when we can. There isn't any fancy lobby or anything like that. People come here to get their goods moved, and we provide the space and the hands to do it. It’s honest work that keeps us on our feet. We see a lot of different cargo passing through, from car parts to household stuff. Every day brings a new set of problems to solve, but we just keep at it until the work is done.
