United Parcel Express

We’ve been at the Lal Singh Building on the main Vasant Kunj Road in Mahipalpur for a while now. It’s a busy spot, especially with all the traffic coming through this part of Delhi. United Parcel Express is basically just us handling boxes and sorting through paperwork every day. Most mornings start with a cup of tea while we wait for the first round of deliveries to arrive. The office isn't anything fancy, just a few desks and some shelves for the packages. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking addresses on the computer. Sometimes the labels are hard to read, and we have to track people down. Outside, the road is always noisy with trucks and cars heading toward the airport. You can hear the planes overhead too. It gets dusty inside if we leave the door open too long, so we try to keep it shut. We know the neighbors around here, the other shops and the guys who deliver lunch. It’s a routine that works for us. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just the staff here making sure things move from one place to another. We stay late sometimes when there’s a backlog, but usually, we head home once the last truck is loaded up. It’s just a regular workplace in a very busy part of town where everyone is always in a hurry.
