You can find us on the first floor of Channa Complex, right across from the Gurudwara on Hardhyan Singh Road. Being in Karol Bagh means the street outside is always packed with people and the sound of bells and chanting from across the way. Our office, number 1 M, is a bit small, especially when a few customers come in at once. We spend a lot of time looking through magnifying glasses at small stones or checking the weight of gold pieces on the scale. It’s quiet work that requires a lot of patience and steady hands. We don't have a big storefront with glowing signs; people usually find us because they’ve been coming here for years or someone told them about us. The carpets are a little worn down, and the desks are cluttered with small tools and ledgers. We keep everything locked up tight, as you’d expect, and the security gate is always a bit clunky to open in the morning. Sometimes we sit and drink tea with people who just want to talk about an old piece of jewelry they want to fix. It’s a slow-paced environment compared to the chaos of the market outside. We don't make big claims about our work; we just sit at our benches and do what needs to be done. It’s a traditional way of doing things, and we like it that way.
