Ritu Stones Pvt. Ltd. is located right on the Ring Road at D-7 in Rajouri Garden. It’s a loud place because of all the cars and trucks flying by all day long. We deal with all sorts of stone, mostly for flooring and walls. If you’ve ever walked around Rajouri, you know it’s a bit of a hub for this kind of stuff. Our yard is usually full of slabs leaning against each other. It’s heavy work, moving those things around. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and homeowners who aren't quite sure what they want. Some days are just spent cleaning up the grit and stone dust that settles on everything. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to sell the stones we have and make sure they get delivered without breaking. The guys in the back are good at what they do, even if they don't say much. We’ve had this spot for years, and it’s become like a second home. The tea stall nearby does a lot of business with us because we’re always drinking chai between jobs. It’s not a glamorous business. You get dirty, your back hurts at the end of the shift, and the traffic is a nightmare. But we’ve built a life here at D-7. People come back because they know we’re always here, rain or shine.
