R.D Earthmovers

Down in Mayapuri, Phase-2, things are always moving. We are over at Office No- D 2/24. It’s right near the Hanuman Mandir and the masjid, so you can always hear the prayers or the bells. It’s a good spot to be. R.D Earthmovers deals with some big machines, so there’s always a bit of mud or grease on the floor. The office isn’t much to look at, just a place to park the trucks and store the spare parts. We spend most of our time out on the sites anyway. When we are back at the office, it’s usually to fix something or handle the books. The neighbors are good people. We see the same faces every day. It gets pretty crowded on the street with all the workshops nearby. Sometimes you can’t even move a truck through the lane because of all the parked scooters. We have a small team, just a few guys who know how to handle the heavy stuff. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in overalls. It’s honest work and it keeps us tired but happy. The building itself is a bit worn down, but it does the job. We like being near the temple and the mosque; it makes the area feel like a real community. We’ve been here a while and know the local rhythms and the people around us.
