Poddar Stone Impex

Poddar Stone Impex is located over at D 14 Part 1. It’s a pretty simple setup we’ve got here, mostly focused on the stones we bring in. The yard is usually the busiest part of the place, with crates and slabs moved around depending on what’s just arrived. We don't spend a lot of time on fancy decorations for the office because we’re usually out back checking the stock or talking to the drivers. It’s a dusty job, and by the end of the day, there’s usually a layer of grit on everything. We’ve been working out of this location for some time now and the neighbors know us well. We don't have a massive team, just a few of us who handle the day-to-day stuff like billing and checking the quality of the stone as it comes off the trucks. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a shipment, and other days it's a bit quieter. It really depends on the season and who’s building what nearby. We like the directness of the stone business. You see what you’re getting, and you know if it’s good or not right away. There isn't much room for fluff in our work. We just keep the inventory moving and try to stay on top of the paperwork that piles up on the desk. It’s a regular job for us, and we take it one day at a time at D 14. We just keep our heads down and work.
