Plasto Films

Our workshop is at No. 124, one of the Dsidc sheds in Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-1. It’s a standard industrial shed, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s a different story because that’s where all the action happens for Plasto Films. We have our machines lined up, and they run for most of the day. The air always smells a bit like plastic and machinery, which is just part of the job. Okhla is a busy hub, so there’s always trucks blocking the narrow roads and people rushing around. We’ve been in this shed for a good while, and we’ve learned how to make the most of the space we have. It’s not always the cleanest place, especially when we’re in the middle of a big production run, but we try our best. The roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains really hard, but we just move the rolls out of the way. We’re just a small crew here, and everyone knows their role. We don't have fancy titles or a big HR department. If something breaks, we usually try to fix it ourselves first. It’s a practical way to live. We just want to get the films made and sent out to the people who need them. It’s a lot of hard work, but it feels good at the end of the day.
