We have been here at No. 8/83 A in the Anand Parbat Industrial Area for a while now. Most days it’s just the sound of the plastic machines running and people moving things around. The area is always crowded with trucks and other units making different parts, so there is never a quiet moment. We work with various types of plastics, mostly handling the molding and shaping part of the job. It gets quite hot in the summers, especially when the machines have been on since morning. There’s a tea stall nearby where we all take turns grabbing something to drink when the shift changes. The floor is usually covered in some scraps or dust from the materials we use, but that’s just how it is in a place like this. We aren't a big office with fancy desks; it’s more about the actual work on the floor and getting the orders ready for whoever needs them. Sometimes the electricity goes for a bit and we have to wait it out, which is part of being in this industrial belt. We know the neighbors and they know us. It’s just a regular spot where people come to work, do their hours, and head home. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty because the work doesn't really require it. Just keeping the machines going and making sure the plastic comes out the way it’s supposed to is enough for us.
