Our office is tucked away on the lower ground floor over in Shivalik-Malviya Nagar. Being near Aurobindo College means there is always a bit of traffic around, but it makes the area lively. At Outline Design N Interiors India Pvt Ltd, we don't really go for the corporate vibe. It’s mostly just us sitting around desks covered in drawings and samples. The basement level stays a bit cooler during the Delhi summers which is a nice plus. We've been in this part of South Delhi for some time now. Dealing with interiors means we have a lot of stuff lying around, like wood chips or fabric swatches. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s how we work. We don't have a receptionist or anything, so if you walk in, you’ll probably just see one of us on the phone or sketching something out. We do projects all over the city, but this little spot in Malviya Nagar is where everything starts. It’s a practical space. We spend hours arguing over where a wall should go or how to fit a cupboard in a tight corner. It’s not glamorous work, just a lot of measuring and planning. We try to stay busy and keep things moving. The neighborhood is good for lunch breaks too. We just do our thing here and hope the projects turn out okay for the people who hire us.
