Rohilla Concrete Products

Our place, Rohilla Concrete Products, is tucked away at 58 Gupta Park in Najafgarh. If you know Najafgarh, you know it’s a bit of a trek from central Delhi, but it’s where we’ve set up shop. We work with concrete all day, making different products that people use for building stuff. It’s messy work. There’s cement mix and water everywhere, and we go through a lot of work boots. The yard is usually full of molds and finished pieces drying out in the sun. It gets incredibly hot here in the summer, which affects how fast the concrete sets, so we have to watch the timing closely. We aren't a corporate office with people in suits. We are just local workers doing a tough job. Sometimes the trucks have trouble finding Gupta Park because the roads aren't always great, but we manage. We’ve been at this for a while now, and the neighbors know us by the sound of the mixer. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here, even if we aren't all related. We drink a lot of water and try to stay out of the direct sun when we can. The work is heavy, and by the end of the day, everyone is pretty tired. But there’s something nice about seeing a solid product go out the gate. We just keep our heads down and keep making concrete for anyone who needs it.
