Mittal Marmo Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of Saidulajab for a good while now. Our office is tucked into West End Marg, right across from the CISF Camp and not too far from the Sense Garden. If you've been around M.B. Road, you probably know where we are. We mostly deal with marble and stone work. It is a straightforward business where we spend our mornings checking inventory and the rest of the day talking to people who walk in. The yard gets a bit dusty, which is just how it goes with this kind of material. We aren't big on flashy displays or anything like that. We just keep our slabs stacked and ready. People usually come to us when they are fixing up a kitchen or starting a new floor. We have seen a lot of changes in the area over the years. The traffic near the garden can get pretty heavy in the evenings, but we stay busy enough regardless. It's just a regular team here doing the daily grind. We don't have a huge staff, so you usually end up talking to one of the same three or four people every time you visit. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a piece of marble has a vein someone doesn't like, we show them another one. That is basically how we spend our time. It’s a practical way to run things and it keeps the regulars coming back when they have a new project.
