M. K. Industries

If you are looking for M. K. Industries, you have to head over to the Anand Parbat Industrial Area. Our office is No-M-9, right in Gali No. 1. It is just off the New Rohtak Road. If you see the Kamal Hotel, you know you are in the right neighborhood. The lanes around here are quite narrow and always full of people, rickshaws, and delivery carts. It’s a very old and busy part of Delhi. Our building is like many others in Gali No. 1—it’s functional and built for work, not for show. Inside, we have our equipment and a small office area where we handle the paperwork. It gets quite noisy with all the other industries nearby, but that’s just the atmosphere of Anand Parbat. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. Usually, you just talk to whoever is closest to the desk. We’ve been in this spot for a long time and have seen the area change, though it always stays crowded. We just keep our heads down and focus on what needs to be done each day. It’s a tough, busy place to work, but it’s where we belong. There is a lot of history in these streets, and we are just glad to be a part of it. The tea here is strong and the work never really stops until the sun goes down over the industrial roofs.
