Kenzai Ceramic

We started Kenzai Ceramic in the Sultanpur Market area a while back. Our shop is right next to the Empire Apartment and just opposite Metro Pillar No.12-B on MG Road. It is a very busy spot with the metro overhead and cars zooming by all day. We deal in ceramic tiles and bathroom fittings mostly. When we first got this place, it was just a shell of a building, but we’ve filled it up with all sorts of samples and displays. It is a bit crowded inside, but it helps people see the different colors and patterns. Being on MG Road means we get a lot of people just walking in because they saw the sign while stuck in traffic. We don't have a big corporate team; it's just me and a couple of guys who help with moving the heavy crates. Tiles are heavy and they break easily if you aren't careful, so we spend a lot of time packing things up. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in the city, just a reliable place where you can find what you need for a renovation. Sometimes the metro construction or the traffic makes it hard for trucks to pull up, so we have to time our deliveries just right. It’s a lot of coordination and simple hard work. We like being in Sultanpur because the market has a lot of energy and there's always something happening right outside the door.
