Jiya Agro Pvt. Ltd. is on the 1st floor of Mangla Market in Kalkaji. If you know the market, you know it is always full of people and noise. Being on the first floor at Plot No. 14 means we are right above all the action. We deal with agricultural trading, so our office is usually full of samples and price lists. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, and the hallway is not always the brightest, but once you are inside, it is just a normal workspace. We have got a couple of old computers and a lot of notebooks where we keep track of everything. The market noise comes in through the windows, but we do not really notice it anymore. We spend our time negotiating prices and making sure our deliveries are on schedule. It is a lot of back-and-forth on the phone. We are not a massive corporation with a lot of rules; we just do what needs to be done to keep the business going. Sometimes we go downstairs to get snacks from the local vendors when things get quiet. It is a busy life here in Kalkaji, and we are just a small part of it. We do not have any big speeches about what we do. We just trade in agro products and try to keep our customers happy with what they get.
