Agri Clinic & Agri Bussnes Centar

Living and working in Alaknanda is pretty nice, especially being based out of the Nilgiri Apartments. We’ve got the Agri Clinic & Agri Bussnes Centar set up at 294. It’s not your usual office space since it’s in an apartment building, but it works for what we do. People come in asking about their crops or what kind of fertilizer they should be looking at. We have a lot of samples lying around, jars of soil and different types of seeds that we show to anyone who drops by. It’s a bit cramped with all the bookshelves and the files we’ve collected over the years, but it feels like home. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to chat or ask about a houseplant that’s looking a bit yellow. We don’t mind. New Delhi can be a hectic city, but inside our little corner, it’s all about the dirt and the plants. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to farmers from outside the city, trying to help them figure out why their yield wasn’t as good this year. It’s practical work. No one wears a suit here. We’re usually in comfortable clothes, maybe with a bit of dirt on our hands if we’ve been messing with the samples. It’s a simple setup at number 294, and we like it that way because it keeps things honest and focused on the basics of agriculture.
