Hind Agriculture Stores

Hind Agriculture Stores is located in East of Kailash, right near Akon and Swarna Manzil 7. It is an older building, and we have taken up most of the ground floor space. You will see sacks of seeds and piles of gardening tools as soon as you walk in. It smells like earth and dried fertilizer in here, which some people don't like, but I find it comforting. We serve a lot of different people, from local residents looking for a small bag of soil to farmers who come in for bulk supplies. The shelves are a bit disorganized because we are always moving things around to make room for new stock. I have been working here for a long time, and I know where every single shovel and packet of seeds is kept, even if it looks like a mess to everyone else. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same. We don’t have a computer system for inventory; I still write everything down in a big ledger book at the end of the day. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in the narrow lane outside, which causes a bit of a headache with the neighbors. We try to be helpful and give honest advice about what grows best in this weather. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is what we do.
