Our office is situated in Goenka House, which is No. 44 in the D D A Commercial Complex over in Zamrudupr. Most people just call the area Kailash Colony Extension. We are known as Cotlon India Pvt. Ltd. It’s a typical commercial building, so there are always people coming and going from different businesses. We have a few rooms where we handle our daily operations. It’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of files. The hallways can be a bit narrow, and sometimes the lift takes forever, so we usually just take the stairs. We spend most of our time on the phones or dealing with shipments. It’s a busy environment but we’ve got our own rhythm. We don’t have a big sign outside, just a small one by the door. The parking lot downstairs is always full by nine in the morning, which is a bit of a struggle for everyone. There’s a small shop nearby where we get our coffee and snacks. It’s not the most modern building, but it’s sturdy and it serves its purpose. We deal with a lot of cotton trade and logistics from here. It’s a lot of paperwork and tracking numbers. We try to keep things organized so we don’t lose track of anything. It’s just a regular office life for us in this part of Delhi. We get through the work and head home when the day is done.
