Jr Marbles

We’ve been running Jr Marbles for a while now over here at Plot No.67/1 in Khanpur. If you know the Devlimore area, we’re just tucked in right behind the PNB branch. It isn’t some fancy showroom with bright lights and coffee machines. It’s mostly just a dusty yard where we keep the slabs and blocks. Marble is heavy and messy work, so our clothes are usually stained with slurry or dust by lunch. We spend most of our mornings moving things around with the crane or talking to guys who come in looking for something specific for their floors. The heat gets pretty bad under the tin roof during the summer months, but we just keep at it. Sometimes people struggle to find the entrance because the lane is a bit narrow, but once they see the sign, they get here fine. It’s just a few of us working the yard and the office. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. Most folks just hear about us from their neighbors or contractors who’ve been coming here for years. We try to keep the stock moving so nothing sits for too long. It’s a simple setup, really. We open up early, drink some tea, and start loading the trucks. By the time evening rolls around, we’re pretty tired, but that’s just how the stone business goes in this part of town.
