Indocon Micro Engineers Ltd.

Our place is over in Naraina Industrial Area, Phase-I. The unit is A-56. Indocon Micro Engineers Ltd. has been operating out of this building for quite some time. It is a typical industrial area setup. There are factories and workshops all along the street. You can hear the hum of generators and the clanging of metal most of the day. The office part is at the front and the work area is in the back. It is not the cleanest place in the world because of all the engineering work going on. There is usually a bit of oil or dust on the floor. We have a small crew and we all know each other well. Most of us have been working here for years. We have a small table where we eat our lunch together. Usually, someone brings home-cooked food and we share. It is a practical office with metal cupboards for all the files and technical drawings. The windows look out onto the street where there are always trucks loading or unloading. It gets quite loud when the shift changes and everyone is moving about. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to make us look fancy. We just focus on the engineering side of things and making sure the parts are right. It is a simple, honest way to make a living in a busy part of Delhi.
