Aks Hydromech Engineers

Our shop is over in Dilshad Garden at Plot No. G-122-Ug-1. We are right on the main road, so you can’t really miss us, especially since we are so close to the bus stand. You can usually hear the buses pulling in and out all day long. We are Aks Hydromech Engineers, and we spend most of our time working on hydraulic and mechanical parts. It is a messy job, to be honest. There is always some oil on the floor or grease on our hands. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with magazines. Usually, if you come to see us, you’ll just stand in the workshop while we talk about whatever machine needs fixing. We have been in this location for many years now. We know most of the other shop owners on this stretch of the road. We aren't big on marketing or social media. We just fix things. If a pump is broken or a jack isn't working, we take it apart and see what’s wrong. We have our tea breaks together in the afternoon and talk about the jobs we have lined up. It’s a small operation with just a few of us who know our way around a wrench. We don't try to sound more important than we are. We are just mechanics and engineers doing our daily bit. If you need something fixed, just bring it by and we will take a look. We keep the tools ready and the doors open for anyone who needs help with their machinery.
