Hs Architects

We are based at M-52, on the second floor in Gurukrishan Nagar. It’s right there in Paschim Vihar. Being on the second floor means we get a little bit of a break from the street noise, but not much. Hs Architects isn't a massive firm with dozens of people. It’s a small team of us working in a space that’s usually covered in blueprints, rolls of tracing paper, and empty coffee cups. Paschim Vihar is a busy residential area, so we end up doing a lot of work for houses around here. Architecture is a lot more than just drawing pretty pictures. We spend a lot of time arguing with contractors or standing around in the mud at a building site. It’s not a glamorous job most of the time. We don't have a corporate vibe here. We wear jeans and sneakers and just try to get the designs right. Sometimes we stay late into the night because a project is stuck, and other times we’re out half the day visiting different sites across Delhi. We’ve been at M-52 for a while now, and the neighbors know us. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. People just come to the second floor when they want to build something or change their house. We just take it one project at a time and try to stay organized as best as we can.
