Hotel Pranshu Inn

Our place is right in the middle of Chandi Wali Gali in Paharganj. If you know Delhi, you know how busy it gets around here. It’s number 803-805. We opened up because there’s always a need for a room that doesn't cost a fortune in this part of town. The alley is narrow and can be crowded with carts and people, but that's just how Paharganj is. Inside, it’s a lot quieter than the street outside. We have basic rooms with beds and attached bathrooms. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a minute but the generator kicks in soon enough. My cousin and I take turns at the front desk. We aren't a five-star place, just a simple inn for travelers. We see a lot of backpackers and people coming from the railway station since it’s quite close. The stairs are a bit steep, so keep that in mind if you have heavy bags. We keep extra blankets in the cupboard for the winter months. Usually, the morning tea is ready by six. We don't do big fancy meals, just small stuff. It’s a 110055 zip code area. It’s crowded, loud, and full of life right outside our door. We’ve been here for a few years now. Nothing much changes. We just keep the rooms ready and wait for the next guest to show up. It's a straightforward place to sleep.
