Aamsi Groups Of Hotels is located right over in Sarai Kale Khan, specifically at 27C/7 in the D.D.A. Flats area near Nizamuddin. Being in this part of New Delhi means things are always moving. There’s a lot of noise from the station and the roads, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We started this because we had some space and wanted to do something with it. It’s not a five-star luxury setup with gold handles on the doors or anything like that. We're just regular people running a set of rooms for folks who need a place to stay while they’re traveling through or working in the city. Most of the time, we’re busy making sure the linens are clean and the taps aren’t leaking. The flats here are a bit old, so there’s always a bit of maintenance to do on the weekends. We handle things ourselves mostly. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, and we treat it like our own home because we're here all the time anyway. We don't have a big marketing team. If someone finds us and likes the stay, they tell their friends and that’s how we keep going. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our feet from morning until late at night. Sometimes it’s stressful when everything breaks at once, but we manage to get it fixed somehow and keep the doors open for the next guest.
