Our office is tucked away in Chuna Mandi. If you know this part of town, you know it’s always crowded and there is a lot of noise from the street. We’ve been operating here for a good while, dealing with various property things and hotel-related business. It’s not a shiny corporate office. It’s more of a practical space where we sit and go through paperwork all day. The desks are usually piled with files and the phone rings more than we’d like. We spend a lot of time talking to people about local buildings and space. Chuna Mandi is a hectic place to work, but it’s central. We see all kinds of people coming through the door asking about rooms or land. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know the area well. Sometimes we have to go out and look at sites, but mostly we are right here. It’s a bit dusty outside with all the construction and the narrow lanes. We drink a lot of tea while we work. There’s nothing too special about how we do things, we just try to get the deals done and keep the records straight. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. Being in a place like this keeps us busy. We are used to the rhythm of the market nearby. It’s just regular work for us every single day. I guess we’ve just become part of the background here in this neighborhood. We don't need much space to get things done.
