Hotel Manavai

Being in Lajpat Nagar means things are always moving. Our address is C 125 Flyover Market Part 1. It is a 110055 area code. If you are near the flyover you can't really miss the market stalls and the noise. Hotel Manavai is tucked in there. It is a very busy spot with people buying and selling things all day long. We have a small entrance and you have to walk up. The rooms are what you would expect for a market area. They are small but they work. We see a lot of traders who come to Delhi for business. They usually stay for a couple of days and then head back to their towns. We don't have a big lobby or anything like that. It is just a desk and the stairs. Sometimes the electricity goes out but we have a backup that usually kicks in. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint soon. We just do the work ourselves when we have the time. It is a family thing mostly. We don't have any big corporate rules. We just treat people like they are coming into our own space. It gets crowded on the weekends especially. We just keep our heads down and keep the rooms ready for the next person who comes by from the market or the station.
